Sample Schedule For Your Trip

The schedule below is the exact timetable taken from our first two Field Trips in April 2011 and October 2011 respectively. It is to be used as an example schedule for the upcoming event in October 2012. The list of October 2012 speakers will include some of those below plus some new faces who are in equally prominent positions in the Hollywood community and will be announced in September 2012 once mentors' schedules have been confirmed. 

SATURDAY

Arrive at Los Angeles (LAX) 

Arrive at your hotel. 

 

SUNDAY

11.00 a.m. - Brunch. Introduction and Breaking into Hollywood session (Receiving maps, contacts etc.)

1.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m. - Script doctor session with Andrew Zinnes.

6.00 p.m. - Welcome drinks

 

MONDAY

10.00 a.m. - Casting Director Victoria Burrows

11.30 a.m.  - Casting Director (Emily Schweber

12.30 p.m - 2.00pm. - Travel to Hollywood.

2.00 p.m. - 5.30 p.m - Sacred Fools Theater, Hollywood: Table read. Have scenes from your script read by professional actors. 

5.30 p.m. - 6.30 p.m - Return to Santa Monica

6.30 p.m. - 7.00 p.m. Drinks in Santa Monica

 

TUESDAY

11.00 a.m. - Meet Hollywood Producers: Meet Gloria Fan at Mosaic Media Group (The Dark KnightElfGet SmartThe Bank JobBatman Begins etc.)

12.30 p.m - 2.00 p.m. - Lunch at famous film spot

3.00 p.m. - Agent: Sheryl Petersen & Debbie Deuble Hill at APA

5.00 p.m -  Luke Ryan, executive at Disruption Entertainment on the Paramount Lot. 

6.30 p.m - 7.00 p.m Return to Santa Monica

 

WEDNESDAY

11.30 a.m. - Producer Chris Salvateera at Katonah Pictures

1.00 p.m - 1.45 p.m - Lunch

2.00 p.m. Bernie Sidman, immigration lawyer. Find out everything you need to know about moving to LA and getting that all important visa. 

4.00 p.m - Meet Hollywood Producer: Tariq Jalil (Marmaduke, Dilbert, Book of Leo)

5.30 p.m/6.00 p.m - Return to Hotel.

 

THURSDAY

9.30 a.m. - Manager Andrew Kersey.

11.30 a.m - Entertainment Lawyer: Jonathan Shikora at LICHTER, GROSSMAN, NICHOLS, ADLER & FELDMAN, INC.

12.30 p.m - Travel to Burbank and Lunch

2.00 p.m - Alex Ankeles at Panay Films on the Disney Lot. 

4.00 p.m. - Russell Hollander at Sam Raimi's Star Roads Entertainment on the Sony Lot. 

6.00 p.m - Return to Santa Monica.

 

FRIDAY

10.30 a.m Frank Wuliger at Gersh Agency. 

12.00 p.m. - Lauren Iungerich, writer/creator of MTV's top TV show, AWKWARD.

2.30 p.m. Manager Laura Hopper

4.30 p.m. Hollywood Screenwriter Bob DeRosa in Studio City.

08.00 a.m. - Breakfast at 20th Century Fox. Tour and Meeting with Eddie Hamilton, Editor on X-Men: First Class. 

11.00 a.m.  - Casting Director (Emily Schweber

1.00 p.m. - Lunch at a famous film spot 

2.15 p.m. - Sacred Fools Theater, Hollywood: Table read. Have scenes from your script read by professional actors. 

6.15 p.m. - Pop Sound. A guided tour of one of the leading Post houses, Pop Sound and meeting with their top Brit mixer Tim West.

7.30 p.m. - Drinks on The Promenade, Santa Monica.

10.00 a.m. - Pitch meeting.

THURSDAY

9.00 a.m. - Meeting with Film LA (everything you need to know about shooting in L.A.)

11.00 a.m. - Immigration Lawyer: Bernie Sidman. Find out everything you need to know about moving to LA and getting that all important visa.  

3.00 p.m. - Meet Hollywood Producer: Tariq Jalil (Marmaduke, Dilbert, Book of Leo)

5.00 p.m. - Tour of Deluxe Laboratories, Hollywood, followed by meeting with LA Producer and Hollywood Post Supervisor - Louise Runge of One Zero Productions.

 

FRIDAY

10.00 a.m. - Film composer. Meet a Brit film composer, Harry Gregson-Williams (The Town, Shrek, Spygame, Xmen: Wolverine)

12.00 p.m. - Sales Agent. Meet Elizabeth Costa De Beauregard, Vice President of sales at Lakeshore Entertainment (one of the leading independent production, finance and international sales and distribution companies with films such as Underworld, Runaway Bride, Million Dollar Baby, Heathers in their repertoire.)

1.00 p.m. Lunch at famous film spot

3.00 p.m. - 6.00 p.m. - Meet working Hollywood writers (Tim Rasmussen and Vince De Meglio of Meet The FockersLicense to Wed and Marmaduke)

Hollywood Field Trip 6 - October 27-November 1, 2013

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING US ON OUR NEXT HOLLYWOOD FIELD TRIP PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING: 

Due to the competitive nature of the spots available, we need to ensure that all interested parties meet the minimum professional requirements in order to partake on the Field Trip. Please email Genevieve at gen@guerillafilm.com with your background/resume/details and also if you have any questions in whether you would qualify.

Qualifications:

For Writers: You must have at least completed one feature screenplay or teleplay; and have other projects to pitch executives. 

For Filmmakers: You must have produced one short film, or one feature film, or one television programme; and have at least one project to pitch executives. 

For Producers: You must have worked on one short film or one feature film, or one television programme; and have at least one project to pitch executives.
