Gloria Fan is the vice president of Production and Development at Mosaic Media Group. Mosaic is the production company of such recent movies as The Dark KnightSeason of The WitchGet SmartThe Bank JobBatman Begins.

Frank Wuliger is one of the senior partners at THE GERSH AGENCY, one of Hollywood's top boutique agencies representing many of the top working professionals in Hollywood. Gersh have also recently stepped into Production with their own packaging and finance division headed by producer Jay Cohen. 

Russell Hollander is Vice President of Production at Sam Raimi and Josh Donen's film company, Star Roads Entertainment. Star Roads recently produced the Sci-fi Horror PRIEST, ARMORED, and David Fincher's up and coming 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Previous to Star Roads, Russell was a producer on Garry Marshall's rom-com VALENTINE'S DAY

Alex Ankeles is the Vice President of Production at Panay Films located on the Disney Lot. Panay Films produced WEDDING CRASHERS, VAN WILDER, SERENDIPITY and PAY IT FORWARD. Panay has a first look deal with Disney and are currently in prep on Allan Loeb's baseball dramady starring Bradley Cooper.  Alex has just sold his own spec script HYPERDRIVE To Paramount. 

Tariq Jalil is the President of Intrigue Entertainment. He most recently executive produced the film Marmaduke for 20th Century Fox starring Owen Wilson. He is currently producing The Book of Leo at Universal starring Sean William Scott, and Dilbert at Warner Brothers with Chris Colombus as director. Tariq is also the producer of TruTv's number one show, Operation Repo and is in pre production on the remake of Shogun

Chris Salvateera is a Hollywood producer and partner at Katonah Pictures. Chris has produced some of Hollywood's big blockbusters working at Universal, Casey Silver, Participant and Paramount. His films include HIDALGO, LADDER 49, George Clooney's GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD LUCK, SYRIANAFAST FOOD NATION, THE KITE RUNNER and NORTH COUNTRY with Charlize Theron, Frances McDormand, Sissy Spacek. Chris has just wrapped on Lakeshore/Summit's GONE

Mark Fergus is a working Hollywood screenwriter who along with his writing partner Hawk Ostby have written IRON MAN, COWBOYS & ALIENS, CHILDREN OF MEN. Mark and Hawk have several new projects in pre-production including AKIVA. 

Debbie Deuble Hill and Sheryl Petersen are agents with APA Talent and Literary Agency. Debbie and Sheryl began their careers as assistants at Premiere Artists Agency. Deuble Hill went on to co-found in 1998 the lit department at Don Buchwald & Associates, where Petersen joined soon after. The duo co-sign and co-represent every client.

An industry leader in the field of talent and literary representation for nearly fifty years, APA represents many of today's most talented artists in all areas of the entertainment industry, with principal offices in Beverly Hills, New York and Nashville.

Laura Hopper is a Los Angeles manager who represents writers, directors and actors. Formerly an executive at Brillstein-Grey, she has wide and varied contacts in the industry. Laura's recent producing credits include View From The Top starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Love Hurts starring Carrie-Anne Moss. 

Andrew Kersey is a Los Angeles manager who represents writers and directors. Formerly he was with the management/production firm 3 Arts Entertainment, and a Universal based production company. Kersey's clients have sold projects to various studios including Fox, Dreamworks, New Line, Paramount, Sony, Warner Bros. and Ivan Reitman's company, Montecito. In television, Kersey's clients have projects at the Disney Channel, Fox and Nickelodeon.

Ray Miller is a Los Angeles manager and producer at Archetype. Ray began his career at UTA where he started the Story Department, worked as a production executive at Behavior Worldwide where he worked on numerous feature films. Having worked at The Gersh Agency and Evolution Management, Ray founded Archetype in 2004 where he currently represents actors, writers and directors in film, television and new media. 

Victoria Burrows has worked in casting for over 25 years. Victoria was responsible for casting The A-Team and MacGyver back in the day and 21 Jump Street. Her feature credits include THE HOBBIT, TIN TIN, DEATH RACE, THE LOVELY BONES, KING KONG, THE POLAR EXPRESS, LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY, CONTACT and CASTAWAY to mention but a few. 

Bernie Sidman of Bernard Sidman Law Offices is one of the best immigration attorneys in Los Angeles.  As a result of Bernie's large number of clients in the film community, Bernie received the honor of being the only immigration attorney to be invited as a full voting member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

 

Lauren Ingerich is a television screenwriter based in Los Angeles. Lauren is the Creator and Executive Producer of MTV's hit show AWKWARD, and MTV's current comedy production, DUMB GIRLS. Her writing credits include the TV show, 10 Things I hate about You. Lauren can give the low down on writing for Television in Hollywood and the highly important role of the creator/writer. 

Bob De Rosa is a working Hollywood screenwriter who's last produced movie was 2010's Lions Gate's action comedy, KILLERS with Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl. Bob has worked with all the major studios and also in the independent field with filmmaker Jieho Lee on his crime drama, THE AIR I BREATHE starring Brendan Fraser, Kevin Bacon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Andy Garcia, Julie Delphy. His next movie to his the theaters is KANE & LYNCH starring Bruce Willis and Jamie Foxx. 

April 2011 Mentors

We were honored to have on board the following spearkers/mentors for our inaugural Trip back in April, 2011.

Todd Hoffman is a top agent at "ICM" (International Creative Management). ICM is one of the world’s largest talent and literary agencies, with offices in Los Angeles, New York and London.  

Tim Rasmussen and Vince Di Meglio are working Hollywood writers who are the screenwriters of MEET THE FOCKERS (Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro), LICENSE TO WED starring Robin Williams, Mandy Moore and John Krasinksi, and MARMADUKE. They are repped by UTA (United Talent Agency) and managed by Mosaic.

Elisabeth Costa De Beauregard is the senior vice president of international sales at Lakeshore Entertainment. She has been responsible for selling such high-profile films as Underworld and the Academy Award (R)-winning Million Dollar Baby and is also involved in the marketing and strategic planning for many of Lakeshore's films.

Lynette Howell founded Silverwood Films in 2007 and is a British film producer living in Los Angeles. In 2007 Lynette was named on Variety's 'Ten Producers to watch' list. Her films include Half Nelson (star Ryan Gosling won a Best Actor Oscar nomination), Stephanie Daley (starring Oscar winners Tilda Swinton and Timothy Hutton), The Greatest (starring Carey Mulligan, Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon) which premiered in the 2009 Sundance competition and Blue Valentine to name but a few.

Erika Schimik is the Senior Vice President of Theatrical Marketing for Lions Gate Films. Erika has played a key role in the marketing campaigns of the Saw franchise, Crash, Hostel, My Bloody Valentine 3D, Hard Candy, The Descent, Kick-Ass and Rabbit Hole, to name a few.

Alex Brunner is the Senior Vice President, Production and Operations, of Exclusive Media Group. Exclusive is the parent company of Spitfire Pictures, Newmarket Films and legendary British Studio, Hammer Films. Their films include The Way Back, The Resident, Let Me In, The Woman in Black and the upcoming The Ides of March starring George Clooney. 

Harry Gregson-Williams is one of the top film composers in Hollywood today. His films include Shrek, Antz, Spy Game, Armegeddon, The Chronicles of Narnia, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Town.  Harry is a Brit in LA and formerly worked with Hans Zimmer on Crimson Tide, Broken Arrow and The Rock. His studio is in Venice Beach. 

Emily Schweber is one of the top independent casting directors. Emily trained under renowned casting director Mali Finn and worked with such directors as James Cameron, Brian De Palma, Joel Schumacher, Frank Darabont. Her credits include Tigerland, The Green Mile, Titanic, L.A. Confidential and Mission: Impossible.

Genevieve Jolliffe is the co author of The Guerilla Film Makers Handbook series. Gen moved to LA in 2001 and has been fully ensconced in the Hollywood film business having had several in depth experiences with the Hollywood studios as a writer/director. Gen will you be your guide for your six days in LA. 

Andrew Zinnes co authored The Guerilla Film Makers Pocketbook, The Documentary Film Makers Handbook and the soon to be released, Breaking into Hollywood, A Guerilla Guide. Andrew is also a professional in Hollywood having worked in the Hollywood development arena working for Norman Lear's Act III productions (The Princess Bride, Stand by Me) and Donald De Line's production company at Paramount (Domestic Disturbance and The Italian Job) in addition to being a screenwriter. Andrew is also the founder of Script-Tonic, a Script doctoring service.

Due to the competitive nature of the spots available, we need to ensure that all interested parties meet the minimum professional requirements in order to partake on the Field Trip. Qualifications:

For Writers: You must have at least completed one feature screenplay or teleplay; and have other projects to pitch executives. 

For Filmmakers: You must have produced one short film, or one feature film, or one television programme; and have at least one project to pitch executives. 

For Producers: You must have worked on one short film or one feature film, or one television programme; and have at least one project to pitch executives.
